Refrigerant handling code of practice 2007

The Australia and New Zealand Refrigerant Handling Code of Practice 2007 written by AIRAH, with funding from both the Australian and New Zealand Governments, applies to all systems which use fluorocarbon refrigerants. It will replace the HB40 series of codes of good practice in Table 135 of the Australian Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Regulations 1995, and therefore compliance with them will be mandatory for anyone holding a refrigerant handling licence or refrigerant trading authorisation . It is supplied in two parts:

Part 1

Self-contained low charge systems

Prepared by the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH) and the Institute of Refrigeration, Heating and Air Conditioning Engineers New Zealand (IRHACE)

Part 2 — Systems other than

Self-contained low charge systems

Prepared by the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH) and the Institute of Refrigeration, Heating and Air Conditioning Engineers New Zealand (IRHACE)
